The most common thing I hear from designers, owners, brands about hotel art: "We don't have the budget for an art consultant."

Here's what that usually means in practice: the designer ends up sourcing art themselves, spending weeks on something outside their core expertise, and the result is either generic or over budget or both.

A good art consultant doesn't add cost. They protect the budget. They know which artists will deliver on time. They know how to stretch a dollar without it looking stretched. They handle procurement, shipping, customs, framing, and installation so the designer can focus on design.
